Powdercoating & Anodizing
Built. Tested. Then Finished Your Way.
Every JS Alternators high-output alternator is hand-built in the USA, bench tested, and backed by our Lifetime Warranty — then coated in-house in the color your build deserves. Powdercoating for standard alternators, exact Polaris Slingshot color matches, and anodized finishes for our billet line. Cosmetic only, applied after testing — it never touches performance.

03 — Billet Line
Our CNC-machined billet alternators aren't powdercoated — they're anodized. The color bonds into the aluminum itself for a finish that won't chip, flake, or fade. Standard machined finish plus 8 anodized colors.

A dry finishing process: electrostatically charged powder is applied to the alternator housing, then cured under heat into a smooth, durable shell. It shrugs off chips, scratches, and corrosion far better than paint, and it's built for the heat cycles of an engine bay. Anodizing — used on our billet line — goes further: the color becomes part of the aluminum surface itself.
Pick your alternator, pick your color — we build it, test it, and coat it in-house.
